Dr. Dean La Barba received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology/hepatology fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, where he served as chief fellow. During his fellowship, he also trained at UCLA and Cedars-Sinai.
Dr. La Barba has professional associations with the American College of Gastroenterology, the Southern California Society of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society, and the American Gastroenterological Association.
