Dana Pan, MD

Dr. Dana Pan was born and raised in Davis, California. He graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, and received his Medical Degree with Distinction in Research from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Pan finished his Internal Medicine Residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center before completing his Fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of California, Davis. He also holds an MHA from the University of Southern California.

He understands that gastrointestinal problems can cause significant impairments in a person’s quality of life. His treatment philosophy is founded on evidence-based medicine, empathy, and open communication. He believes in fully informing patients on the rationale behind a particular diagnostic and treatment plan, values the doctor-patient relationship, and is committed to helping each individual with their unique medical issues. He is fluent in English and Chinese-Mandarin.

His clinical focus includes Gastroenterology, Colonoscopy, Colon Cancer Screening, Upper GI Endoscopy, ERCP, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Pancreaticobiliary Disease, Liver Disease, and Telehealth Consultations.
