Waleed W. Shindy, MD. MPH. is a California native, completing all his education and post-graduate training at UCLA. He has a Bachelor in Science in Psychobiology, a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, and his MD and Fellowship in Gastroenterology from UCLA. He served as the Chair of Medicine at Huntington Hospital from 2018 to 2020. Dr. Shindy has extensive experience in Gastroenterology, he has been actively serving the Pasadena Community since 2004. He is also an active member of the teaching staff and takes interest in educating medical residents. Dr. Shindy takes pride in listening to his patient’s needs and providing compassionate care. He regularly utilizes both portal messages and telehealth as tools to treat his patients. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and hiking.
