Treatment Philosophy
Gastroenterology is a rapidly changing field with new treatments and technology emerging constantly. The amount of information can be overwhelming to patients, but understanding the nuances of their disease is critical in their care. I strive to empower my patients with the knowledge they need to understand and navigate their disease, and I always try to take the extra time to walk my patients through their care. Furthermore, all patients have unique perspectives, different expectations, and varying levels of medical literacy, and I encourage all of my patients to participate in decision making, and I welcome patient feedback and questions.
