A West coast native, Dr. Kauffman has extensive experience and training across the broad spectrum of urologic conditions. These include urologic oncology, stone disease, voiding dysfunction, prostate disease, urinary incontinence (both male and female) and men’s health and hormone therapy. He specializes in minimally invasive approaches when surgery is needed.
Dr. Kauffman completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with the highest honors. He was then accepted to attend the University of Virginia where he attended medical school. He completed 2 years of General Surgery training and his Urologic residency at the University of Missouri where he was recognized for scoring among the very highest on national examinations and for authoring original research and presentations at urologic conferences. He believes in combining the latest technological advances with a shared decision-making approach and open communication. In his free time, Dr. Kauffman enjoys outdoor activities, live music and spending time with his family and friends.
