Biography
Dr. Julie Yang received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She is a graduate of Rush Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. Her background includes areas of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Yang completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine and Gastroenterology fellowship at Loma Linda University & Medical Center. Dr. Yang joined the team at the South Pasadena office in 2008. In her spare time, Dr. Yang enjoys playing piano and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Yang believes in treating the whole person and the patient as if he/she were her own family member. She believes in being a patient-advocate, which she says is the best way to support her patients.
