Chelsea Fujita-Haffner is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a Master of Science in Nursing and a concentration in family practice. Upon graduating with honors from CSULA, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She was previously an ICU and Emergency Department RN for three years.

Chelsea was inspired to become a Nurse Practitioner by her life and family experiences. She believes in empowering her patients through education and encouragement to take an active role in their healthcare. In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys staying active, going to concerts, spending time with family, and playing with Skylar, her Goldendoodle puppy.

I'm very impressed with my nurse practitioner every time I get to see her she's attentive to the problems that I am going through due to a cascading illness I have, and she's very understanding. She could be a doctor she is so good at her job and I've always enjoyed seeing nurse practitioners for that reason they take the time they don't just throw a pill at you. After many appointments with other GI specialists, I finally found in Chelsea a caring practitioner who listens, relates, speaks, and works to feel what the patient is sharing. GI issues are highly personal and require capable hands and a caring ear. I found this and more with Chelsea after just one visit. I’m relieved and grateful to at last, find a healthcare provider that sees, hears, and cares about my health. Going to the doctor shouldn’t be a practice in frustration but an exercise in shared goals towards health and quality of life. This is the first visit I’ve had in many where I felt like my provider could see a healthier life ahead for me - a true breath of fresh air.
