Kalman Edelman, MD
Studies have shown that coffee can actually extend life by reducing the risk of death from heart disease, diabetes and even cancer.
Dr. Edelman has been in the same practice in Pasadena since completing his training in 1982. He is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz and attended medical school at the University of Illinois where he also completed his residency in internal medicine. His training in gastroenterology was completed at USC. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Edelman spent 20 years on the clinical faculty at USC and continues to be an active member of the teaching staff at Huntington Memorial Hospital. He has also held a number of elected medical staff positions at Huntington Hospital. He has experience in all areas of gastroenterology and a particular interest in interventional endoscopy, including biliary and pancreatic procedures.
Outside of work he enjoys hiking, traveling, skiing and fly fishing.
