Studies have shown that coffee can actually extend life by reducing the risk of death from heart disease, diabetes and even cancer.
Dr. Fu graduated from the USC School of Medicine (1993), but previously received her PhD at UCLA in Nutritional Sciences. Her postgraduate training (a further 6 years) was spent at Huntington Hospital and at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in Los Angeles. She has received prestigious awards from the Republic of China and for her nutrition research. She joined her practice in 1999. She is fluent in Mandarin.
